The Wedding & Portrait Photographers International organization, or WPPI, holds an annual convention in the amazing city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The main purpose is to let photographers network with each other, with vendors, and to see all the new products being released in the next year by camera companies, album printers, and other photography related businesses. I learned so much while I was there. I was fortunate enough to listen some amazing photographers, including Jesh de Rox, and Jerry Ghionis spout out some really good tips, secrets, and all around great information. I also had the incredible opportunity to meet, in person, so many of the photographers from around the world that I frequently chat with online in forums. It’s so cool when you meet people and realize they’re even cooler in person!

My first experience with Sushi. It was pretty good. My favorite on the plate was the eel. Can’t say much for the salmon though.

I had to snap a few quick pictures of Allison in her dress before we left for an amazing party called Airplanes and Blazers. We danced for 5 hours non-stop!

I also was able to take a walk down “The Strip” for a little while and grab a few street pictures too.
The poverty in this town was blatantly obvious. It was a harsh contrast to the glitz and glamour portrayed everywhere else.
One of these things, is not like the other. One of these things, does not belong…
