I don’t know how many people prayed for a perfect wedding day, but it worked. Low 80s and only 50% humidity with a cool breeze is unheard of for Nebraska July. I was either counting on steam bath humidity or thunderstorms… and we had neither. It was gorgeous.
I had never been out to Country Pines before, and it was a treat to be able to photograph a fantastic couple in such a rustic place. Alex and Ben were so "go with the flow" all day, I don’t know if anything could have stressed either of them out.
Everyone had a great time, and I feel so fortunate to be able to have been a part of their day.
Congratulations Alex and Ben!

Truly wonderful work. The raw emotions are coming out of each picture.
Great job, James. I love the light in these images. I really love the shot of the bride in the room with the wood paneled walls. Great mood in that shot.
LOVE those ring shots!
WOW – love them all!
Cool series of shots… Lucky with the weather as it seems like such a gorgeous location…
Well done!
Congratulations Ben! My favorite one is where you and your lovely new bride are in the bottom left corner and she’s holding your face. Powerful image. Best wishes to your new family!
That first vineyard shot is absolutely fantastic!
Beautiful lighting – how did you do it???! I like the shot of the bird too – very creative. Keep up the great work!
congrats, you two – great shots to remember the day by!
All of the pics are perfect. Congrats.
I really love the dramatic image of the bride alone. Stunning.
