Emma’s senior pictures in Nebraska City

As soon as I saw a picture of Emma’s dress, I knew I had to do something special with it for her senior pictures. My immediate thought was a plantation-style look, as it reminded me of an old style dress like you’d see in Gone With The Wind. Unfortunately, there was nothing like that available in Lincoln. Fortunately though, only an hour’s drive away, tucked into a park in the middle of town, was Nebraska City’s historic Arbor Lodge. Perfect!

It was so humid out, and Emma really did do an awesome job of looking great while carrying around that heavy, hot dress. In the end, we had a great time, and even stopped by the Lancaster County Fair for a few last minute shots among the spinning lights of the rides.
