Dr. Bitz

I don’t post a whole lot of personal stuff on my blog. At least not as much as I used to. This is a big enough occasion though, that it warranted a posting of its own.

My wife has been in school for what seems like forever. In fact, she’s been in college almost as long as I’ve known her. Some people choose to take a break between undergrad and graduate school, or even between getting their masters and doctorate. Not Allison though. She’s a dedicated, hard worker and she dove in and did the whole program all at once. It’s taken close to ten years, but the journey is almost at an end, and we can see light at the end of the tunnel.

One of the biggest achievements has been her dissertation. She’s often described it has our 3rd child, because aside from having to feed it, it’s been almost as much work.
